Pics from last couple of days

Jada's first bath by mom & daddy!

This was part of an interview with a Chinese judge. We had to have Jada for 24hours, then decide if we wanted to keep her. Well, we thought about it and, yeah, we'll keep her. So, Jada is signing her document above.

This is the official adoption decree. We are taking a picture with the Director of the Beihai Social Welfare Institute.

Then we headed off to the city of Beihai. This is the market where Jada was abandoned and then found. We got to go to each family's finding place. It was surreal. Wondering what was the parents feeling, feeling forced to abandon Jada and at the same time completing our family during this season of our lives.

Another outside shot of the market.

This is Jada on the ride back home. She was sleeping most of the day, not eating and spitting up alot. We got to the hospital and they took good care of her.

The gates of Beihai Social Welfare Institute. Neat thing, we found out this was sort of a government run "Dream Center". They take in homeless, jobless and elderly and provide training for the jobless and homeless and care for the elderly.

So, the last 2 days were quite exciting. Jada woke up this morning smiling, laughing and eating and drinking. It's so good to have her back. It was really scary for first time parents in possesion of such a precious gift. But, we are not motivated by fear. We know Jada has a destiny and with God's help, we will see her to it.

The prayer support has been overwhelming. Thanks again for all the comments. We know we are loved by you guys and it really helps us get through everything. We are encouraged and strengthened.

We'll see ya'll soon! Love always,

The Lambert's

Wow, guys she is beautiful. You are going to have a hard time keeping the boys from Ascension Parish away when she grows up.

Zane and I can't wait to meet her.

Glad to hear the "parental trial by fire" is subsiding...we still get nervous and upset when the boys even have a cough or something more serious (tumble down stairs to headbutt marble tile and grow an instant golf ball under the forehead, type of stuff) But that is just it stuff...we don't worry about stuff...
as always, can't wait to see y'all.
