New Jada Pic
Here's the "good" picture of Jada Liu Xin Lambert. It's better because she's looking right into the camera. We are pretty amazed how healthy she looks. We compared her stats against growth charts for Chinese babies and she's in the 75% percentile for height and weight.The paperwork indicated she isn't crawling yet and she can't walk unless someone has her two hands. She responds to her name being called, she laughs aloud, and some other stuff I can't remember. But, from other things they've indicated, she seems to be a little ball of fire. The box with "sits quietly by herself" was left UNCHECKED!! So, she likes gettin' into stuff.
We are deciding whether or not to have the baby shower before or after we go. Anyone with suggestions or experience, feel free to give input!
I'm amazed at the traffic this site is getting today. As of right now, 8:54pm CST, we have had 140 visits today! That's definately a record!
Thanks again for everyone's support and encourgement! The response has been overwhelming! It's so good to have good family and friends to share this with and celebrate this moment with. To see people get so emotional for us during this time is really special. We love you all and it's good to know we are loved.

Gered & Brandi- we are so happy for you both! Ever since Laurie told me about your Blog months ago, Jason and I both have been checking every day and praying for you guys during this process! I can only imagine the excitement and hustle and bustle going on in your hearts and home right now. Jada is beautiful- what a blessing and an amazing journey- imagine sharing all of this with her one day! She will never know how lucky she is!
PS- Please tell Brandi that as far as the baby shower goes- regardless of when you decide to do it- I'd love to be a part of it and would be glad to help out in any way.

Lot's of love to all three of you. Since us Cajun's being all in one place might scare her, why don't you have 2. One a baby shower before she gets here, and then we can throw her a birthday party a couple of weeks later once she is more settled. But you need things right away! And what an awesome chance it will be for everyone to get together and thank God.

Li just e-mailed me about the wonderful news and I'm so very very happy for you guys! And Jada is one very lucky little girl. She is absolutely beautiful and has a wonderful life awaiting her. I broke into the biggest smile at the site of this precious child. Wow. You two have been truly blessed and Jada blessed to have you as well. You have shown us all such amazing trust and faith in Father and your journey has led you to this amazing little girl. Caroline is going to have so much fun with her new friend.
