Fingerprints

For the purposes of adoption, our fingerprints were only good for 15 months. So, they expire in July. We need to go and get fingerprinted again. This wouldn't be a big deal but Katrina wiped out the office in New Orleans.

So, we had to send a letter to the Department of Homeland Security's Department of U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services in Memphis, TN. We were ready to go to the nearest office in Jackson, MS to get refingerprinted. Thankfully, the office has reopened and relocated to Metaire, LA.

We'll be making an appointment this week to ride to Metaire and getting refingerprinted.
